Wooden extension of the house partially extends above the water surface of the pond. The facade consits of vertical wooden strips, which are underlayed by glass in some places.
Complete reconstruction of cottage from 1950. The interior of the cottage is cladded with beautiful brushed pine. The exterior is simple - facade cladded with wood, which is impregnated with tar.
The house is directing south and sea with glazing facade. Simple skewed layout with corners protecting from sea breeze.
Older project (1999) of the modest house, which proves that good architecture can age. House for 5-member family near St. Moritz was designed by Swiss architects Bearth + Deplazes.
Tree houses at the entrances to the National Park in Netherlands - similar but not the same - each of them with different surface. The shape of the house is deformed and abstracted by using materials (mortar, wood and corten) to all pavilions.
On the steep plot, in the middle of the garden full of trees, placed perpendicularly to the slope, drawing attention to itself by gaudy colour - this is where the modest wooden house is situated. Lively exterior is in the direct contrast with soft interior in white and light wood. There is a living area with covered terrace in the first floor and bedrooms in the ground floor.
A complex of buildings for housing surounds stone courtyard and is a centre of whole complex including guest house, sauna or sport failities. The aim was to create a young traditional community with elements of comfortable and active life. Buildings are cladded with wooden boards which is in contrast with white polycarbonate facade of garages.
Two-storey house with layout 9x9m was built on the cliff 65m above the sea. Simple timber house has the porch and the living space opened over two storeys.
The rapid modification of the house - only stone cellars and retaining walls were kept, the rest was destroyed. On these foundations new wooden conctruction with geometrically broken walls was built. The face of the house is changing by falling shadows.
